Kanzenze water treatment plant to end clean water shortage in parts of Bugesera - WASAC says (Rwanda TV - Thursday, 21 May 2020) -- The Wasac officials reassure residents in various parts of Kigali City and its suburbs that are unable to access clean water that a water purification plant is being built on the banks of the Nyabarongo River in Kanzenze Sector of Bugesera District that is near completion and will solve this problem. Rwanda Announces Ambitious Climate Action Plan (Ministry of Environment - Monday, 25 May 2020) -- The Government of Rwanda has announced an ambitious climate action agenda that features a 38% reduction of greenhouse gas emissions compared to business as usual by 2030, equivalent to an estimated mitigation of up to 4.6 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e).
